    Job description:

    Great Bay University's Department of Physics is seeking Postdoctoral Researchers in Theoretical Physics, including high-energy theory, gravity, cosmology, quantum physics and information, condensed matter physics, and mathematical physics. The GBU (http://www.gbu.edu.cn (Chinese); https://www.gbu.edu.cn/?lang=en (English)) is a newly established public university in line with the national development strategy with the first president, Professor Gang Tian. The university's location at the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area provides a vibrant environment for academic and research activities. Being in line with the national development strategy underscores its commitment to contributing to the advancement of science and education in China. Our faculty members include Pak Hang Chris Lau, Chen-Te Ma, and Fadi Sun (https://sites.google.com/view/gbutp/homepage?authuser=0). 

     

    This position provides a fantastic opportunity for Postdoctoral Researchers to contribute to strengthening research capabilities while benefiting from collaborations with the Department of Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China. Being based in Dongguan, where the GBU is located, offers a promising environment for research and innovation. The initial two-year term with the possibility of a one-year renewal provides a good balance of stability and flexibility, allowing researchers to fully engage in projects. The starting gross salary of 300,000-450,000 CNY per annum.
